AVCHD is not too friendly a format to edit across the board,
and added to that you are applying a process intensive plugin
to the mix…..its always good to convert your avchd files to

Listen Thayer, Don’t sweat it,
There are an unending list of presets you can
choose from…For starters, all you have to do is apply different presets
until it looks like something you like and then you go in
and tweak further to your desire.
After a while you will begin learning the tool more and be

You can do this easily by using the “volume envelope“.
Unfortunately for you, i think this feature is only available in the

Here is the quandary of your post…
Are you referring to sony vegas 7 or sony vegas movie studio 7 ?
Because if you move from vegas 7 (pro) to movie studio 9 that’s actually a downgrade.
Also the movie studio versions has many limitations and customizing
restrictions….due to the fact that they are not the professional
