Try first to “auto hide” the task bar (right click on the
taskbar, select properties and tick auto hide)
Then the window will be visible at the bottom when the
taskbar falls out of view…you can then drag up the
vegas window.

I wouldn’t say overwhelming reason to upgrade from
Platinum 8 to 9…But as with all upgrades, offers more
features than before…..you can easily see a list of its
added benefits on the sony creative website……..
However if you really want an overwhelming reason to upgrade,
why not upgrade to Vegas Pro 8…..Now that would be an
overwhelming reason….lol

you can easily do this same place in vegas 6, by using
a vst audio plugin to tweak your split audio to have
that high pitched (over the phone) sound or you can fiddle
with your current audio plugins by using the reverb with the
equalizers..etc…etc until you get a desirable sound.

A lot of individuals make this mistake constantly……
Just stick with your Vegas 8 Pro Kenton…..all versions that
has movie studio in it are geared for beginners or
home users, as John pointed out.
