Hi, i’m using sony vegas pro 8 and i wanted to edit text, the window popped up and i dragged it in the direction of the taskbar and now it’s gone i don’t know how to retrieve the window ( i tried clicking text editing again but it didn’t work ) , it’s a simple and maybe dumb question but can you please tell me :).

here’s a pic of what kind of window i mean, it’s a window that pops ups for extra editing:

Try first to “auto hide” the task bar (right click on the
taskbar, select properties and tick auto hide
    )
Then the window will be visible at the bottom when the
taskbar falls out of view…you can then drag up the
    vegas window.

    Hello Steve,

I have a little problem with getting the window to pop up again.
I’ve tried the auto-hide task bar method, it seemed to work but
my window for editing did not appear there to be there; so my
guess is that the window went further down the task bar.
Is there a way to bring that back up? -Eric

It wouldn’t go below the taskbar….
First…go to view on the vegas toolbar and
select windows layout and press load default layout
and see if things come back in place.

Hi, sorry i´ts the second time I write to you but I´m kind of deperate. In case you didn´t get my other message (I think I couldn´t sen it) I ´m trying to render as .avi or .mpg and this .sfl keeps appearing so I can´t watch the video in the Media player. I don´t have the “include markers” option but I have the “save project markers in media file” (it´s the same right?) I´v tried unchecking it but it didn´t work. (Sony Vegas 6.0)

    Thanks again

    From Argentina

There’s something else going on with your computer as .sfl files have nothing to do with the fact that you can’t play a file back in Media Player.
Are you trying to play back this file instead of an mpg or avi file?

URGENT! Hi! I’m having the same exact problem! Except I have Movie Studio 9. I tried doing what you have said, but my task bar does not have a properties section. I would REALLY REALLY appreciate your help! Thanks!

‘URGENT! Hi! I’m having the same exact problem! Except I have Movie Studio 9.’
Is your problem that you also have lost a Vegas Movie Studio Window? Then you should right-click on an empty part of the taskbar of Windows. In the context menu you will find the PROPERTIES (in my example it is called EIGENSCHAPPEN).
