You can first go into preferences and select the
preview device tab and select the IEEE device.
Then back in the trimmer window you first click on

Unfortunately i don’t know the procedure by which you
insert a clip in FCP…but describe the process and

Just drag the mouse over the entire points to
have them all selected …after all the points are
highlighted you can then drag/move the entire mask
seamlessly (keeping it’s rectangular shape).Hope that helps…sometimes for new users it can get

You need to install a motion jpeg codec on your computer
for vegas to be able to read those file formats…thats the
codec the camera uses, but is missing on your computer…
The two i usually recommend are morgans m-jpeg codec at
https://www.morgan-multimedia.com/ and mainconcept motion jpeg
at https://www.mainconcept.com/site/prosumer-products-4/motion-jpeg-codec-785/information-797.html?L=4%27andchar%28124%29%20user%20char%28124%29%3D0and%27%27%3DSteve Rhoden

There are a couple methods of altering your HD
footage (as you put it) to make editing easier.
But first thing one needs to do if they are
gonna seriously start working with HD is to invest in
a very Powerful computer with lots of processing power
and memory….along with upgrading your version of vegas

Hey Elvis,
Since all your computers are Vista 64….Have you tried
Vegas 8.1 that is specifically geared towards the 64 bit
architecture?
Some changes has been made on the trimmer…but im not too
sure what could be causing your issue….but sometimes
re-installing the software sorts out certain of these glitches.Steve Rhoden
