    I was going to try that.

    I have the AJA IO at work and I seem to remember that I connected something wrong at on point (Becuase I could see the spickets correctly with the low light that I had) and the signal looked fine, but we came to find out that it was connected wrong.

    Anyway I didn’t even have to change any settings and it looked correct with just the Y connected.

    Like I said I was going to try that anyway.

    Thanks again.

    Thanks Walter, but I don’t have that option I have the Black Magic DeckLink HD Extreme.

    I’ll figure something out.

    If they all have matching timecode sync to the time code on all 4 tapes, if not then find a matching point on all the tapes, in the middle of the song and set an in pont on all the clips then sync to the inpoint there will be black on certian cameras (angles) before or after the video actually starts.

    The multiclip will look like this….

    ———I——-
    —————I—–
    —–I—————
    ——-I—–

    Yeah.

    My Sony deck will do this, but I asked the guy who shot the footage (who also captured it for me) if he could do that and either he did know how or what but he said his camera couldn’t do that.

    Also, I suggested that I would recapture the footage, but he reminded me that the JCV tapes would not play in a Sony deck, which I’ve experienced before as well.

    So rather than argue with him, with the producer on the phone I said I would convert it in Media Manager, but it didn’t turn out the way I expected.

    Thanks tom;

    So there is no logging functions, strange. I figured it would have at least that.

    To capture footage you have to just do a capture now?

    Thanks again.

    Martin;

    Thanks for the input.

    That did it. It works perfectly now.

    I had my keyboard modified, but the others in the company that weren’t modified didn’t work either so I rest those and they work fine now too.

    Thanks again.

    I know it’s trivial, but that may be my favorite feature.

    I just have to remember to use it now.

    What you are doing when you hold down the shift key is you are effecting the distort.

    If you click on the distort line it will show you the amount in there.
