I had Motion and all the FCP 3 applications working fine under Yosemite.

I just upgraded to El Capitan because my Office 365 suite would not work under Yosemite and discovered that QMaster and Motion will not work.

QMaster I don’t care about, but Motion could be a problem.
Maybe I’ll instal a Virtual Machine version of Yosemite and Motion 4.0.3 if I really need it.

Thank you. That’s What I wound up doing.
I had a copy of Snow Leopard.
It was a little tougher than what you said because I’m on an iMac with no DVD drive, bit I made a disk image from my old PPC and then brought that over to the iMac and installed Rosetta.

    Thanks.

I’m using Remote Management. I’ve never needed Remote Login in the past.

Screen Sharing is controlled by Remote Management.
Turning on Remote Login doesn’t make a difference.

It may just be one of the “Improvements” in Yosemite.

    Thanks John.

What do you mean by “agree to everything”.

The MAC’s are on and working.
They are being used for Edit sessions and everything is fine with then.

I just don’t like the fact that I can’t connect directly to the desktop like I did before.

    Format a Drive as Ex-Fat.
It is readable and writable by both Mac and PC and doesn’t have the 4GB file size limit that Fat 32 has.

Thanks. When I did 20% slowdown it looked OK, but I need to go slower than that. Like 50%.

I’ll take a look at Twixtor.

    Thanks guys.

David I know how to set up partitions and do separate installs, but I though it was in another post by you that I read you could have both on the same partition.

Maybe I’m confusing it with the partitioning for FCP 7 and X article that you wrote. I’ve got a major head cold today and the brain is a little foggy.

    Thanks again everyone.
