I have a 3 camera shoot on many tapes. A certain song splits one tape. the timeline looks like this:

    v4 —————————–
    v3 ————
    v2 ————-
    v1 —————————

How do I create a multiclip to include all 4 tracks and what do I sync them by?

    Rocky-
    MUCH appreciate any help

If they all have matching timecode sync to the time code on all 4 tapes, if not then find a matching point on all the tapes, in the middle of the song and set an in pont on all the clips then sync to the inpoint there will be black on certian cameras (angles) before or after the video actually starts.

The multiclip will look like this….

    ———I——-
    —————I—–
    —–I—————
    ——-I—–

Yeah, my diagram didn’t pan out either. Let me try again.

    footage = #
    no footage = –

    v4 ##########################################
    v3 ##############——————————-
    v2 —————————#################
    v1 —–#####################################

this arrangement puts them in sync. NO timecode to use…
