climbon321 Thanks for the suggestion.
I will try it.
As far as the version I am using 6.0.2.We’ll see if it works, it can’t hurt to try can it.
Thanks again.

[Ashley Harvey] “many users are finding that their DV capture capabilities have been limited to 5 to 6 minute segments…. or less. “
Thanks for the warning, but I am not experiencing this. I just did a 10 min capture now from my Mini DV cam and it was fine.
It did stop at that point because of a time-code break, but other wise it was fine.
Thanks again;

[Ashley Harvey] “If you are running FCP, and you downloaded an update for QT 7.3 – but have NOT installed it – I’d think twice before doing so. Lots of problems going around on the forums with the new QT update and FCP.
” target=”_blank”>https://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=5825488?”
First of all that link is a dead link.
Second I did these updates on my system at home and have had no problems.
What types of issues are there?
Thanks

[Jeff Carpenter] “If you ran the program from the Apple menu (instead of downloading from apple.com) then you’re done. It downloads and installs.”
I did that, but stopped before the last download was done, so I did not do the install yet.
Thanks

No problem for me either. Both Boris 3D title and Boris FX 9.1.

Thanks Paul.
I just finished rendering out with my other drives set to write access.
I’m not about to trash the render files and re-render a 3 hour render just to test something out, but this has happened in the past and now I know what to try when it happens again.

In the canva, Control click on the ending ketframe and set it to Ease in/ Ease Out.
Then adjust the Bezier handles to get the motion you want.

September 23, 2007 at 12:48 am in reply to: Nesting issues: how do we fix what we’ve done wrong? There may be a better way, but what I would suggest is to turn on the timecode overlay in the canvas and that will show you the time code of where your playhead is.
Then double click on the nest to go into it and enter the timecode in the Current Timecode (hitting Tab will make that area active) field in the upper left corner of the timeline and hit enter it will take yo to that time code on the nested timeline the you can match frame from there.

To my knowledge there is not shortcut for this and from what I have read here Final Cut does not handle Apple scrpts.
But you can drag the the motion or effects tab down to the timeline and you will have a wider area to work in instead of the small viewer.
There is a shortcut to swtch between tabs. It is Shift+Apple+ [ or ] to go forward or backwards.
