Wow, that must be frustrating. Sorry it is doing that. I tried the Century Gothic font set to Bold and it worked great on my machine. I don’t have the Weezer font. Did you try the Century Gothic font with success?

[Darren] How do you insert video into a thread?
Above where you type your response there is a bunch of icons. Click on the one that looks like a film camera. If you hover the mouse over it it will say, “Video Upload”. Upload the video. Once that is done you will see a section on the upload page that says “Embed”. It will have a bunch of code. Copy the code and then past it into your reply.

Chris, welcome to the FCP club. If you have a clip in timeline, lets call it clip A. And then another right next to it, which we will call clip B. When you try to extend Clip B’s in point you are trying to extend its length to the left. It can’t be extended any more to the left because clip A is in the way. Ways around this is to move Clip B further down the time line and then extend it or use some of the cool tools like the Ripple Tool. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Got it. Check out the Wriggle behavior. Go to Add Behavior, Parameter, Wriggle. Change the Apply To section to: Transform, Position. Drop the Amount to about 4 and you will get a nice jerk in the objects movement. You can do the same for the Opacity but I think you will like the Randomize option better. Go to Add Behavior, Parameter, Randomize. Change the Apply To section to:Object, Opacity. This should get you started. Mess around with the settings and other Parameter Behaviors if you like. I think Zaxwerk’s ProAnimator FX is a great plug-in. It does a great job with Illustrator files. I’ve never imported 3D models in the program before, but it looks like it will take:
FBX Animation (.fbx)
Maya/Wavefront (.obj)
3D Studio Models (.3ds)
Lightwave Models (.lwo)
Electric Image Models (.fac)
Cinema 4D Models (.c4d)
Autocad Models (.dxf)That being said, I use ProAnimator FX to create really cool logo animations and basic shapes such as a TV. It does a great job with logo animations. Hope this helps and best of luck.

bogiesan is right. With text you can try to fake it by selecting the text. Go to the text’s Layout tab. Change the Layout Method from Type to Path. There you can curve the text. Next change the text’s 3D rotation so it looks like it is going further away. Hope this helps and best of luck.
