I don’t have this plug-in but the Trapcode website tells you how to build this in AE. Click on this link to see it: https://www.trapcode.com/info_smoke.html
To create the “Smokescreen” so it looks like the one in the example I would use the Clouds Generator. Place the Smokescreen in front of the logo. Add the Shine or Light Rays filter. Make sure the Clouds are above the Text in the Project Pane. Change the Clouds blend mode to Stencil Luma. Duplicate the text and move it above the clouds. Disable the Light Rays filter. Add a camera and you are good to go. I’m sure there are lots of other ways to do this. This is just what was on the top of my head. I hope this helps and best of luck.

In Final Cut Pro, ad the Flicker filter to the clip with the thin lines. Hope this helps and best of luck.

I’ve built a few mock weather maps in Motion. What I did was take a look around at my local stations and visits sits like: https://www.newscaststudio.com/inspirationfinder/ to get an idea as to how it should look. Then start creating you own cool looking weather map. Easy to do in Motion and AE. Hope this helps.

By the way, I forgot to mention. Take a look at the Sketch templates that comes with Motion. Drop a clip in the drop zone and then look at the filters they used and what settings they used. You may find it of help.

I would give the Color Reduce filter a try. I built a lot of the images in this TV commercial with it. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Cool example video. I love how they mix stuff up. Anyways…I use Snapz Pro and have created lots of tutorials with it. Here is an example: Creating a HologramAll of the move where done in Motion with the Camera. If you want to do the Weight Watchers thing you will probably want to move the clips themselves or put the clips in groups and move the groups. You are going to have a lot of fun creating this project. By, the way, if you have not purchased Snapz Pro it has a 15 day free trial.
You may want to take a look at iShowU as well. There are even more screen grab software options if you want me to list them. Best of luck and have fun.

Put the word you want on a separate layer and then add the behavior to that layer. Depending on the behavior you can draw a mask around the word. Duplicate the layer and un-check the invert mask check box. Apply the behavior to the appropriate layer. Hope this helps.

If you select the object that is casting the reflections (Not receiving it) and hit F1 to open up the properties tab you can go to the blending section and change the Cast Reflections from Yes to No or Reflections Only. Hope this helps and best of luck.

I’ve wanted a page peel filter like AE’s for Motion for a while. Unfortunately, no dice. If you don’t need the corners to bend, you can flip the pages like a cover to a hard bound book. Just rotate the page in 3D with the Anchor Point set to the edge. If you want a double sided page be sure to group the top and bottom page together and rotate the group instead. Hope this helps.
