    Hi Steve
I got your DVD Moving with Motion. Following along with your projects, chapter 3 looking for the Star.AI and Ninja.AI. In the finder I see there’s 3 files in the Art directory; but in the File Browser in Motion only 1 file shows. It’s the Pitons_Logo.psd. the 2 AI files don’t show up to import.

I’m using FC Studio 2 with Motion 3 on a Mac Pro.

Can you tell me what’s going on that the files are not available in Motion.

Contact me directly if you can.
    Thanks
    Allen

    Allen,
Thanks for supporting the Creative COW Masters Series and for purchasing my DVD Moving with Motion. I’m sorry for any delay in your Motion training and hope you have found the DVD useful. I put the DVD on multiple computers and finally re-created the same problem on one of them. It was a computer with Motion 3 and Illustrator CS4. It did not like the older Illustrator files. I re-saved them as a CS4 file and they work great. I’ve attached the files here:

    Best of luck.

    Hello Steve

Wow, Thanks very much. I’m interested in learning Motion. Most of my Studio experience has been FCP. I migrated over from the PC and Sony’s Vegas. Loved Vegas but love the Mac Better! 😉 Doing mainly industrial and music videos.

One other item but that’s not affecting my following along and doing the project files is my keybpard commands and the ones you show in the dvd don’t match. That’s not a big problem though.

Thanks again for the help here and than you very much for your DVD!
    Happy Holidays

    Allen,
That’s great. I’m happy Motion is working out for you.

The keyboard shortcuts on a laptop are different. If you are on a laptop check out this post: https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/170/863955#863960

Best of luck, and I look forward to talking with you more in the Motion forum.

    Hi Steve

I’m using a Mac Pro and I figured out what happened. Each function key supports 2 purposes. I had it set for the upper features and not for the F features. I switched it in Sys Prefs so now the F1 – F12 works right. Sorry for the confusion.

    Allen
