Odds are that was done in After Effects. Very expensive and very steep learning curve.

As I replied on the other forum – the card needs to be reformatted. Try putting the card into a reader to get the files then reformat the card in the camera.
If you have another memory card, plug it into the camera. If I am right, Windows will let you see the files over the USB port.

This sounds like a Quicktime issue. Make sure you have the latest version.
DO NOT ever install a CODEC pack – it will replace the pretty good codecs installed by Vegas with inferior ones.You haven’t provided enough information. What type and what templates are you trying when you do the “render as”. (“Render As” is in quotes because MPG, MP4, h.264 are all encoded formats, notwithstanding Sony puts them in the “Render As” menu).
What happens if you render as an AVI file?

Well, no. The AVI file that Videotagger makes does not have an alpha channel. But the background is black, so I just use the Vegas Chromakey tool to key out black. As you can see from my example, it works.

I’ve never had a “jitter” problem using the Credit Roll, but it’s limitations make using it less than ideal. I do a lot of theater and stage videos and need to be able to make quick changes to the names and roles.
I’ve found a better tool (Videotagger Premium) that does import the names and roles from MS Excel. It’s not free, but at $30 it does make credit rolls easier.

Run RESMON then click the CPU tab. Windows 7 will immediately show which processes are hogging the most system resources. (See the Status Column)
Resmon provides something like a more powerful version of Task Manager. If a program has locked up, then right-click its name in the list and select Analyze Wait Chain. Windows will then try to tell you why it’s hanging – the program might be waiting for another process, perhaps – which could give you the information you need to fix the problem.

Mike, I don’t think that is what the OP was referring to. The media problem is not that it’s missing, but that it gets replaced. Worse yet, when it happens, there is no warning or error message. (I still think its a Windows problem).

This is *missing* media, as if the media drive letter changed (external drives) or the media files were renamed or moved.
