I’m curious, is there a reason you are using an aspect ratio of 640 to 360 ?
Thanks,
Steve

Marco, I paid for Vegas 14, but I can’t for the life of me find the link to download the latest builds.
Is it possible to download the full build, or is it only distributed via the stubby 4 MB installer? I hate not having the full standalone installer, because my editing computer is not normally connected to the internet.
Thanks,
Steve

April 14, 2017 at 10:16 pm in reply to: Vegas Video 14 — Can’t get Magix customer support to fix itI’m about to finally install the Magix Vegas 14 I bought in November 2016 too.
I followed the link in the email to download it. I get a 4 MB file. Running triggers some kind of installer that offers to download/install the full versions of all the products that were bundled.
Is it possible to ever get the full stand-alone installer file?
I’ve been stuck with Vegas 12 build 770 for 3 years now because I can’t get 13 to run for more than 10 minutes without crashing. Same problem even with what I think is the latest version: vegasproMAGIX13.0.545_64bit.exe .
Any suggestions most welcome.
Sometimes I’m tempted to buy a Big Mac and go with Final Cut the way John did … but I can’t afford that, and I’m very used to the Vegas work flow.

February 25, 2017 at 1:02 am in reply to: Vegas Pro – trying to render higher than 26 Mbps for “60” fps 1920×1080When I try Main Concept AVC , the higher rates at 60 fps won’t work with 1920×1080, they only seem to work with 1280×720, and the XAVC won’t let me pick a rate.
I’m not at my vidro workstation right now, will double check later. Thanks!

John, how long did it take to get used to the Final Cut workflow? I’ve looked at it, and it is very, very different.
If I do move to Mac – I’m thinking of it – how well does Vegas 12 run on it?
Thanks,
Steve

November 25, 2016 at 2:08 am in reply to: I’m Pimping my PC, need your advice please! Rx480 6700K?I’m seriously considering going the Mac route like John Rofrano did and buying a souped-up Mac, use it just for Vegas, my Windows Machine for everything else I need to do in my IT hell-world.
