Thanks for the review. Considering my limited funds, this is the upgrade I may go for. My one big question: can I slave my old iMac to it as a monitor and external storage? What about migrating my apps folder and upgrading all my Adobe apps?

The section I’m trying to blur is a constantly changing shape… (my hands are moving in front of my computer screen that I don’t want anyone to see) but most of the tutorials show blur-worthy sections that are more easily tracked by a simple rectangle or ellipse… The only thing that seems to work is frame-by-frame, and I thought tracking was supposed to avoid all that…

Like I’ve posted elsewhere, I’m trying to pivot to motion graphics from a career in print. So, I’ve come up with the idea of simple videos on a YouTube channel to display my evolving technique. And, of course, now I realize I need a lot more background skills to show off just the mograph portfolio…
