Same kind of problem here.
Captured 720P 8bit @59.94 and was getting dropped frames on capture after about 3mins..
. Could not figure it out as before upgrade to FCS2 and BM6.2 I captured 10bit the same rez upto 12 min clips and was fine.
I even layed one clip ontop of another in the timeline with animated transparency and it played fine in 5.1.4 and BM6.1
Found out my raid even though I said just extended had in fact format “journaled”
so re-formatted raid to just OSX Extended, and thought that the end of it.
Nope… still won’t play back 2 streams from the raid but it did before :-/ Cant test re-capture as the deck was just on hire.. :-/
SO seems its not the raid… but fcp or bm.. wierd.
FCP did report playback was due to DISK SPEED in big red letters.. -
Slightly better? isn’t Uncompressed.. supposed to be uncompressed? :-/

Premature?.. well what was after effects 3d like in the start ?
Shadows will come.. now stable open GL would be nice to start!

Not an expert in this but pretty sure no.
Your only option if you must share media with PC and OSX is a fast network with a Server that can share media to either computer. SD is ok over gigE.. depends what you “need” to be able to do though…
what pc apps cant you use on osx you need?

Open the image seq in quicktime.. save a ref movie out.
try dropping that QT ref movie into the timeline..
any luck ? Surely there must be info on GT site?

just clicked install and in installed fine… it was a clean osx though.. no blackmagic ever installed on it before.. new system(osx) then FCS2 installed then BM6.2.
Seems fine to me.. should I uninstall and re-install again just to be safe ?
