Thanks for the quick fix guys, with the new drivers my system is back to normal.
…Now if you could just do something about coreaudiod (Not Responding) 😉Cheers and Merry X-Mas to you all.

BRILLIANT!
The only thing I’ve changed is to do it this way.
Select the clip with the keyframes you want to adjust.
Grab the slip tool and slip the keyframes to where you want them to be taking note of the slip amount. eg. +2.12
Copy the clip.
Delete the keyframes by using remove attributes.
You still have the Slip tool active so now simple type the opposite of what you moved before. eg. -2.12
Paste attributes.Your done.
The only problem with this method is that it will only work if you have decent handles on the clip which has the keyframes you want to adjust.

Doing some more testing it would seem that it is the Decklink Launch Daemons that are crashing coreaudiod. Removing them has solved the problem so far.

In snooping around through my system I noticed that I don’t have any Blackmagic drivers in my Startup items folder. Could this be the root of the problem?

Yes installed and running on 10.5.1. No problems so far. The only issue with QT 7.4 that I’ve had is that I have to sometimes refresh the Decklink preferences to get it to down convert HD to SD on my CRT Monitor. Apart from that it’s business as usual.

Well it was like the monitor couldn’t sync to the output. However I have completely shut down the system and left it off for a while and this seems to have fixed it. Did happen one more time after I had to switch presets from HDV to DV but again restarting seems to have fixed it.

Guys you’ve always been able to spell check. It’s built in to OS X. Just select the text, right click and select SPELLING/CHECK SPELLING AS YOU TYPE. Another great tip is to highlight a word you don’t know, right click and select “Lookup in Dictionary”.

I’m very happy that this method is as good quality wise as recapturing as our method for ingest will be simply to push play and record everything. We are shooting time of day code with two cameras as well so that often make recapturing a nightmare.
Each show will be 22 minutes long so I assume an overnight conform to ProRes422HQ would be sufficient?
