Almost positive you can not on the newer version, I think on
version 1 and maybe 2 it was possible.

HOLY CRAP! I mean cow, I have been editing for 3 years and that has annoyed the crap out of me forever.
The things that you just dont bother to figure out or fix. I would just apple -Z and try again. It’s kind of like a leaky faucet, its not really hurting anything, but wow is it annoying.

cool, thanks. I think for what I am doing FCP is more than what I need.
It is mostly dialog with some background sound effects.

from quicktime pro export as .mov
then export as .aif

The resync them. I think I have ran into your problem and thats what I did.

I like Jerry Hoffmans book last book. It may be a little advanced for total beginners, but you can assign chapters for them to work on there own
