It rendered out perfectly . . . so, sometimes it’s just the visual that looks bad when it’s unrendered . . . but now that I know it’ll render out fine so I’ve got confidence.
Seems like a lot of work to simply drop in a still. I’m used to Premiere or After Effects which feels a lot more like quick and easy plug and play . . . just drop it in a go . . . no weird image formatting.

Thanks for the response Walter. I think I’m good. After dropping the logo into the timeline a green bar appears above indicating “preview”. I guess I was expecting a still to simply drop in at 100% quality without the need to render. Before stretching the logo to it’s required duration, the bar above goes from orange to green and back, etc. And, when scrubbing the logo goes from 100% quality to a slightly lower res preview, then back…. I’m on Unlimited RT also.
I’ll render out and let you know how it looks . . . but I think it’s good.

Clone them all by slecting them and hitting control-d to duplicate your layers. Keep those new ones selected and pull up the transform properties to mirror them.

If it’s Firewire 400 and USB 2.0, use USB 2.0. If it’s Firewire 800, go with that.
Although, it’s best to use internal SATA drives as the previous poster mentioned.

I would create the cells as strokes in Illustrator, on a layer above the video stills. Mask off each video still with the pen tool. Add a camera that moves over the comic by keyframing it’s movement. Hope that helps!

Can you pre-comp some of the layers together as you go . . . to eliminate some of the complexity? I’ve run into unexplainable issues in the past, solved by pre-comping, or eliminating effects not meant for 3D layers.
