I am new to FCP and have not fully looked into this yet but need to know if…
Is there a video effect that gives the video a grainy super 8mm look, scratched etc. Is there a film effect look so that the video looks like it’s been shot on film. The kind of stylised look I am after is in the film ‘Silent Hill’ when Areeya talks over a flashback sequence of how she became burned.Can you do this with colour and can I achieve this on a super fast Imac?
any help would be marvellous, many thanks

There is also CGM Film LE…that is free. Google it.
Magic Bullet from http://www.redgiantsoftware.com has a few presets.
COlor correction is a skill that really can’t be expressed in a forum. But, crush the blacks and raise the mids a little and the highs. Fiddle around.
