    Hi,

I’m new to both the forum and After Effects and I’m looking for some help for a project I am doing.

I am trying to produce a video in the style of a comic book. I don’t want to stylize any of the video I am using but I want to present it in comic book cells with a moving camera. This is an example of what I am aiming for (with video rather stills):

It would be great if anyone had any tips of could point me in the direction of any tutorials.

    Thanks for your help,
    Tom.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

I would create the cells as strokes in Illustrator, on a layer above the video stills. Mask off each video still with the pen tool. Add a camera that moves over the comic by keyframing it’s movement. Hope that helps!
