In 99% of these cases the problem is in front of the screen 🙂

Dont stream, too much data.
I am doing remote grading session from time to time.
I set up a VPN on the clients laptop/MacPro and Fedex them my dongle.
They send me a copy of their material.
I setup the project , log in via teamviewer and set their Resolve.
Thats it..
From that moment on we are on skype for the session and their machine is doing the grading with me controlling it.

Both, I like my Cinema Display over a lot of half professional grading monitors.
As a UI monitor its kick ass.
And HDMI out (from Blackmagic products in general)is only 422, so banding galore.A slice of color…

Actually I just built an even more power hungry configuration and it worked fine.
I am running a 470 next to a Q4000 plus 4 drives and it works just fine.
Hmmm…what else could it be ?
Did you try the card in another system ?
Do you dare to ?
If you have a reseller at hand you could try and send/bring it in, maybe its something electronic and not just electric.A slice of color…

Are you running 9 disks on the 2009 power supply ?

Well, I have a project that pops this up just after loading it and its only 20 minutes.
The problem is Resolve not USING the memory.
Its a 32 bit app, how would it use more than 3 Gig ?
As soon as you start using EXR files that use quicktime or EXR sequences as mask inputs, say even on two or three video tracks, this will happen.
We got around the problem by splitting the reel into sub reels and deleted two thirds of the files from the video tracks.
It is not how much stuff is loaded to the media pool, its more what is really on the tracks.
So sending the project file wont help as the problem does not show if the actual media is not loaded.

Well, I know it doesnt do CUDA, but the Quadro as a main card does everything else…

Sure you can try using a 5770 instead…it also has one power port only.
But space wise ?
