Next question. Perchance are you working with a number of .mov files that exceed 3 Gig in total?

HI, I’m sorry I don’t know how to reset to the default popup that asks where to put the file. I do know that the recorded files folder setting can be accessed via the project properties under the audio tab half way down is the “recorded files folder”

Yes well since it a beta version of the OS one would lay fault there. Take it to the dev team at MS it is their folly.

Have the same issue with Vegas 13. Sony Vegas Support suggested a clean install from a new admin account.
First uninstall, then root through regedit for any vegas entries, finally instal Vegas with a new admin account on windows. You can remove the account when finished.

Yeah that works too. I’ve been modifying and playing with the file since I created it, you know just to see. I’m actually impressed what one can accomplish with just the legacy text and Vegas default Plugins. Yes if keyframe interpolation is left at default, the letters will tween between keyframes. You can select all the keyframes and change them all at once to see for yourself what the effects are.

Oh, here I thought I was the only person who had difficulty configuring that part of Resolve. I’m certain it’s something simple however it aint broke so I’m not going to mess with it. I do find myself doing more editing in resolve lately and with the added support of ofx plugins, I’m finding fewer reasons to leave Resolve and lately I’m bringing audion back in after it’s been sweetened.

That really is too bad. Had a Deck link setup once but that was some time ago. As I recall I used to record from inside an NLE which placed the files into the media bin, then I’d review it from there. With that thought, have you considered installing Blackmagic Davinci Resolve 11. There is a free version and it too has a capture feature. I must admit that I’ve been unable to get the capture working in Resolve but then I use Media Express for the capture and review it in Davinci Resolve. You can do basic editing in resolve and it is a state of the art color grading tool. Thats about all I can suggest.

Ok, I’ve uploaded an example veg file, hope you have Vegas 12 or better. If not let me know and I will make a veg file in a lower version. Let me know if this works for you.
