Ok, I use intensity pro and record in the dpx format, That said have a look in the windows control panel for the Blackmagic Design Control Panel. If you have it then there is an audio tab that has an output volume control.

Try using “align centre” instead of “align left”. That may address the issue.

Of coarse things depend on the input as to what is which options are available. Have you looked at the Blackmagic Design Control; panel? The location of which is also dependent on your os, win/ Mac version.

Hi Rich,
I already own Continuum Complete so I have no need for that. However it is a great suite for quickly creating all sorts motion graphics. If you don’t own it it is worth the $99.00 alone.I use story board quick to pre visualize shots, and camera angles. This is another PowerProduction Product. It is very useful to determine if you have the physical space to get the shot and what lenses to use before you are on site. Not to mention you can show actors, producers, camera operators, lighting people or anyone who needs to visually see the concept of the shot.
Even for something like a dance recital you can determine what to expect from your equipment. In my area I am not allowed to place my camera in the aisle due to fire regulations in a theater open to the general public. With the software I can set up the shot and show the customer what to expect. This usually ends up loosening the purse strings allowing me to hire a second or third shooter and / or rent extra gear needed for the venue. So yes even as a sales tool it is invaluable.
Sorenson squeeze is a really good compression unit, they have been in business for a long time. It’s been a while since I needed to use the product though. Last time I used it was to encode flv format which Vegas did not encode. I have no current knowledge of the products features.
I don’t know how you find these deals but keep em coming and thank you for the Graffiti tip, it works great in Vegas but for me it’s the lower thirds templates that sealed the deal.

Actually exporting from blender as an image sequence is the way. The frame rate is embedded in the individual png. Vegas will read the image sequence and identify the frame rate. All you need to do is
import media, navigate to the image sequence and highlight the first frame. There is a checkbox “open sequence”

Heinrich Himmel is quite correct, the gear is slowing you down and yes that is motion blur and really there is no way to get rid of it. For low light photography you need fast glass, a prime lens is preferable If you don’t have fast glass then rent some. But if you are going to rent then rent a Sony Alpha 7 with a lens or two (the current undisputed king of low light photography), if need be put it on a tripod and use a remote. If it’s a paid gig your reputation is on the line and the doe must be spent or suffer the consequences. One bad review can be difficult to overcome. If it’s a labor of love, then what is it worth to you. Bottom line being the equipment you have is not suited to the task at hand. A tripod will help but that’s just the beginning.

Yes I have done that, but for me it’s been hit and miss that’s all.
Also I was not paying attention to who was posting, sorry my bad. I thought I was replying to Paul Gregory hence my confusion.
But still the old camera pass through trick works the best. I have found the lower end USB capture devices introduce audio noise so I steer away from them. You can still pick up Sony DV Cameras with fire wire pass through for somewhere between $20-$150 and as you alluded to they are great for video transfer.
