mocha Pro has the ability to do auto luminance matching. While this is capability is found in the Remove Module, you could potentially use it for image insertions as well.

You can absolutely use mocha on shots that have perspective and are not on a tripod. Most often, planar tracking is the ideal solution for tracking screen inserts and mocha excels at tracking things that can give 3D trackers issues, such as objects that go offscreen, are blurred or get obscured by foreground images.
The key to getting a good mocha track on a screen or phone with reflections is intelligently placing the tracking layers to track the object edges and avoid reflections. Hey Roland,
I can’t confirm this right now… sorry. Will take a look in the next few days.Another workflow could be to align the surface, then use the CP export out of mocha and choose “invert” before exporting – but there are some scenarios where this can be buggy.

You may want to check out mochaImport+ which is a script that assists your mocha data inside of AE. This allows you to easily use the data to stabilize then unstabilize a pre-comp.Also lots of great tutorials from the developer, Mathias Mohl:

mocha AE CS6 that is bundled has 2D planar tracking and roto tools.
mocha AE v3 (purchasable upgrade) adds 3D Camera Solver and support for FCP, BCC and Motion.

It sounds like something is going on with your clipboard. Are you on Win or OSX X? There used to be an issue with After Effects taking over the clipboard and not allowing paste, but this is largely resolved in CS6.
One thing to try:
1. Save your mocha camera export as a file.
2. Quit mocha
3. Make sure your copy/paste is working in AE
4. open up the saved file in a text editor, then copy to clipboard
5. try to edit>paste mocha cameraThe only way to get mocha camera solve in to AE is through the plug-in and it seems that AE clipboard is not working right. You could also try removing and re-adding the plug-in.

This is the kind of work that mocha excels at. If you own After Effects, than you already have mocha AE. It ships with AE CS4-CS6.

Have you tried doing: edit>paste mocha mask?
