October 24, 2012 at 7:37 pmYes, it would appear that the update has fixed that problem.
I had a couple of suggestions that I’d still like to share in the event that you ever need them: Mocha (which integrates pretty well with a Motion workflow, though it does require learning a new app) and Blender (which can be used as a finishing tool in place of Motion, though like Mocha it requires learning a new app and can be a rather steep learning curve.)
Mocha isn’t cheap, but it has a planar tracker that is second to none. Blender is free! From what I understand, there is a way (plug-in I believe) that will allow you to send your results to Motion from Blender but I haven’t used it. Both seem to be far more friendly at this point to After Effects.
But this may all be a moot point for you.
Happy tracking!

Whether you believe that you can or you can’t, you’re absolutely right.
