Go to Peach Pit Press and order the “Color” tutorial. It will teach you a lot about the program so you can do many cool things with it.

Try using XDCAM Transfer to convert the footage. You will have problems using other methods.

Got it. Why does this have anything to do with genlock? I feed the SDI signal to a Panasonic digital switcher and don’t need genlock. We mix 3 cameras this way with only the SDI cable.

I was just looking at the menu and that option is greyed out. How do I turn it on?

Don’t even think about using the Blue Snowball. Mine is on Ebay right now because there is just no way to get enough volume out of it. I have never been able to use it because of that. My computer settings are correct too. Even if I speak very loudly directly into the mic. it is so quiet I can’t use it. Also, I get a LOT of ambient noise feeding into the system with it. My cheapo headset mic. works much better. Be warned and good luck!

I have used LED lights and have not noticed any flickering during shooting with my EX-3. I have also used mixed LED and incandecent without problems too. Just use enough light to light your subjects well and you should be fine. All my shots were under NTSC settings.

Go to Craigslist for the city you are in and click on “TV/Film/Video” and also “Crew”. That will show you all the video type work in that area. Good luck.
