PPro exports CMX3600 EDLs. An image sequence will not contain tape-centric metadata. Hmmm, you may be able to use Adobe Bridge to input metadata but I’ll be surprised if other apps will be able to read it. It’s worth a look-see if you’re so set on using an Avid.

Use Premiere Pro for your editing needs. Your workflow will be less painful and much more productive. IOW, if you use AE a lot then PremierePro SHOULD BE your editing app. AE’s finesse coupled with PPro’s playback prowess provide an awesome combination.

Try deleting Prefs. Also, get in touch with the script developer to report your issue. It’ll be good if you reported back here with more details/solutions etc.

When ever possible, do all your scaling in a single comp. In your case, do it in the precomp.

I can’t visualize “chattering” on text as such a description is not usually ascribed to text. But try the procedure above and see if it solves your issue. Otherwise, provide a sample movie and include details of all the properties that you have changed/keyframed.

32bpc requires 4x the RAM that 8bpc uses.

If you didn’t scale up the vector layer then there is absolutely no reason/need to switch on its Continuously Rasterize.

Another thing to note is that distortion effects with position parameters work on a layer’s innate dimensions. However, if you rasterize the vector layer then such distortion effects work with the composition size.

There is actually a mathemathical solution to your issue which entails moving each parameter based on the scaling factor that you applied to the layer – assuming that you had changed the layer’s scale prop.
