You should be able to link a particle system’s emitter/producer to the Nulls. Then tweak the emitter, gravity and particle settings.

Select all the position KFs and Edit>Copy. Then open up either Word or OpenOffice; paste and then save as RTF.

December 24, 2013 at 9:55 am in reply to: Plexus – Different Layers with sprites

You create a sprite comp. Make each image 1 frame in duration. Nest the sprite comp into your Plexus comp. That’s it.

BTW, Plexus 2.0.8 was released yesterday – https://aescripts.com/plexus/

  • I see the same issues here. My thoughts are that AME is the culprit. The same everything renders pristinely when rendered from AE but softer and sometimes noisier from PPro/AME.

You do not need to uninstall. Rather, you should Sign Out via the Help Menu.

I’m not seeing your issue on my end. The Render Settings should overwrite all other fps settings in C4D. Are you certain that you’ve gone to the menu item, Render>Edit Render Settings?

December 20, 2013 at 10:31 pm in reply to: Problem with Foam effect in AE CC

Post your AEP here for someone else to take a look at it.

File a bug – https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform if the problem persists.

You may also want to use another particle generator as what you’re doing really doesn’t require Foam.

Do a restart. If that still fails then try keyframing from scratch.

My thoughts are that it’s a cache issue.

December 20, 2013 at 9:29 pm in reply to: Ps 3D Text losing effect in Ae CC?

The nVidia 5000K is a good card for AE’s Ray-tracing. You can extrude Text and Shape Layers in AE. When the comp’s renderer is set to Ray-tracing, working in Draft or Fast Draft preview is really fast. I suggest you give it a try.

Download this AEP to get a Quickstart on creating Materials for extruded/Ray-traced text in AE.
