That’s really bizarre, especially the flipping of the image. I have no idea. I think I’d try put a new instance of the video on the timeline and see if it works and if not maybe start a new project and see if it works. If it works in a new project you can always just copy and paste it over.

Have you used PluralEyes to sync your video? I think that PluralEyes can throw it off and has to be moved to hit the mark on the frame mark before you start editing.

I have the same problem. If you open your veg project with windows explorer instead of within Vegas, it will open OK. That’s been my experience. Give it a try.

I think what I would try would be to use the secondary color corrector and sample that blue color using the “select effect range”. Once sampled I would use the saturation, etc to see if that blue could be beefed up.

Not sure I understand what’s happening but after you have the pan/crop open, right click and choose the “Maintain aspect ration”

I’m not sure this is the problem but try changing your Time Format to something like SMPTE Drop.

I have never understood the purpose of the trimmer when it’s so easy to just reduce the size of an event by moving the edge of it on the timeline. If the answer is that it’s more accurate, enlarging the timeline will fit that bill.

I use to give our PBS 1/2 hour programs which were made into HDCam master tapes to the people who did that in three rendered parts. I preferred doing that because I feel it necessary to watch any final render carefully after rendered and many times after spending almost a half hour watching the program a frame or two needed changing which meant a re-render and then watching again.

You can use the velocity envelope to speed or slow.
Right click on your event and go to insert/remove envelope and then velocity. You can change speed within the event with this.The other way is to hold down your ctrl key and stetch or reduce the event.
Pan/crop is how you zoom in. Use the keyframes if you want to zoom in and out during the event.
