One video track at a time. You’re dealing with 1970 technology!

I ended up pulling the card and hidden was the name: Adaptec 4300 c. Now, Adaptec is a well known manufacturer, but when I go to their site it reports there is no driver to download (recall, there WAS however a CD) and I’m still getting random glitches on capture.
Anyone use the Adaptec 4300 c that can offer some assistance?

The Executive Producer is incredibly expensive and does a lot but what you’re asking for does not exist. I would avoid the Excel route as it’s picky about colons and Drop Frame NDF issues of course.
Sadly no one has come up with a $30 quick logger ala Avid logger or the excellent Discreet Logger. Although this is the first I’ve heard of https://www.dharmafilm.com/sebskytools/ … still it’s a bit confusing in a production environment where you have mostly interns or Jr. Editors doing the digitizing (ie: import an ALE then convert then import a .txt into FCP… aargh!)

[Lili Lab] “since you sound like an export, I’ll ask you a couple more questions:”
I would also consider David an EXPORT. He’s got a huge ego, though, a result of clicking the Make Self Contained button on.

Livetype give you the kind of control you’re used to with Inscriber. Take the time to have someone show you the ropes.
The boris product I found unreliable and didn’t have any kind of accurate preview of what you’re doing. Critical positioning of elements was a frustrating joke.
Motion is kind of overkill when you see all the neat fx in Livetype. Go with Livetype. And do a search under Inscriber this has been discussed in depth. 🙂
