    hi all..
I think chris hit it on the head.. I did something very simular, i used combustion instead, It has particles built in.. they are only 2D but with some scaleing it flew.. Iam sure after efx and trapcode “3D” particles would do the same… Just set the deflectors to the plane of the window.. I used a dust cloud particle..

    hi all..
Kristian after reading the release.. It says blackmagic is working with Adobe on a fix… As you know adobe is tightlipped… in fact there ppl i spoke with at a seminar deny the problem and refered me to talk to black magic ppl… so my question since both sides are working on it, is when can we expect some solution to this….

February 25, 2006 at 2:33 pm in reply to: HELP! multibridge extreme and after effects 7.0 => crashing

    hi all
good question shane… I was at that adobe production suite tour… and had a chance to speak with the adobe afterefx presenter. He was completly in denial about the issue. Then he kept pointing the finger at black magic.. to which I said files work fine in premiere and adobe bridge, and older versions of afterefx so they’er valad files… adobe software see’s them.. so why cant after efx7.. to which he gave me a name at black magic to contact regarding a fix date.. I have a funny feeling Adobe is going to take there time in fixing this issue.. I think in the short term, all we can hope is Adobe gets enough complaints…

September 23, 2005 at 10:08 pm in reply to: Export to tape problem (Premiere and DVW 250)

    hi Jaromir .
I have and use a dvw250. Sometimes I get that same error msg in premiere.
What I do is save the project. then close premiere, make sure the deck is parked in black that has been striped on the tape.. “menu in DVW-250 set to TC off tape. Open the project and export to tape.. this works for me about 99% of the time.. But I have gotten pro-vtr software and that works 100% of the time. but it took a little time to get setup as frame accurate. Hope this helps..
