Thanks for the link, sorry for the long delay. That doesn’t seem to be the case. It seems more like the install went kablooey. I’m thinking of just re-installing compressor but I’m afraid for my nearly completed project.

Sorry for the lack of specifics. My son had given me maxtor 300G sata 2 drive and since my mac only has 2 drive bays I thought heck…why don’t I get an enclosure, slap in a sata card and voila instant external sata. Then after I regained my sanity, gtech, g-sata 1TB comes with the card…what was I thinking. It was a surprise that there wasn’t another slot to pop the drive in the mac. Iquess the powermacs only have 3 drive bays. 1 for system, 1 for the optical and 1 for a media drive. Thanks for the reply. Ralph

Thanks for the replies. TI looked at artbeats and it seemed pretty easy to search and I found some great possiblities and at $695 for a whole collection, that could fit the bill. Istockphoto was very frustrating or I wasn’t searching it right. Some one gave a DJuice suggestion, I forgot about their stock footage. We’re doing a news magazine type show targeted toward 50++++. It’s a collaboration between the college and our county government. We were hoping to shoot local stuff with local oldsters (which I’m one too, so no one get all upset) but the weather still stinks in the northeast and getting people cooperate is…challenging. Soooo I’m going with stock footage, it doesn’t cancel or talk back. Thanks ralph

What about the pre-configured key board. It comes in the standard usb version and the wireless. I think you need bluetooth for the wireless however.

We use the G-tech drives in our Mac Lab and in our studio. They are flawless, run quiet and cool. Lacie may have improved since the last time I used one but they tend to run very hot.

Logic keyboards are great. I use the bella on the FCP machine at work it’s ok but there are functions I could not get to work properly. I’m sure that’s my fault. I use the logic keyboard for that “other” edit system on my pc and love it. I’m buying the FCP keyboard for my mac at home. I’ve never been a fan of stickers.
