export to compressor
Exporting a project from FCP using compressor and there’s no problem with settings destinations etc. When I try to submit the job, a dialog box pops up and says that I can’t submit the job, restart computer or check install of compressor…something like that. Restarted and tried several times. No luck. Checked for and did software updates, still the same. I just used this system over the weekend, all was fine. Any ideas. I thought of doing a clean install of compressor but the ancient rule of messing with a system in the middle of a project comes to mind. Any ideas?

Did it say something like “unable to connect to background processes”or “Unable to submit batch?

Thanks for the link, sorry for the long delay. That doesn’t seem to be the case. It seems more like the install went kablooey. I’m thinking of just re-installing compressor but I’m afraid for my nearly completed project.
