    same problem here too.

had written to the BMsupport they asked me to check if the red rocket is working fine on a mac machine and after few days of test i think had come to conclusion that the issue is with resolve.

  • ask someone in the office to change the resolution of the project to 1080 and export the project and mail it to u.go through(play through) the project once you load in lite to see if the picture is looking right.

    hi Eric,
    thanks for the reply.
we have 50tb storage with 5 fiber licences and shared with two Quantel IQ pablo ,one Resolve linux, one Bones for scanning ,1 shared between three smoke premium. so our Mac Resolve just has a 1gbps ethernet and i was told that we would need a fiber licence to get the MAC resolve connected to the storage .the storage is quite fast but resolve cant get the required bandwith on a film project .so was searching for options to connect to the storage from mac through fiber with out buying a licence for conforming and also if i have a local storage it would be better as the activity on the main storage would not affect the performance of resolve.

December 9, 2012 at 7:14 am in reply to: Decklink Extreme 3D card and Resolve for playout?

it works for us on the Linux resolve haven’t tried on a mac one but it is a bit tricky .
    # if you want to insert a clip you should write down the in and out by going to the recorder and then connect and try to input the in and out points as fast as you can or else you lose the sync and you have to connect again . sometime going frame by frame gives you time to input the in and out point and then add event and record.
    # for assemble connect go frame by frame give in point (make you have made a note of the in point )add event record.
I had lot of problems with this page as we do a lot of tape transfer of our projects and had even asked davinci help to give a dedicated tape in and out space whether the tape is connected or not as on version 8.

make folder in the media pool with the same name of the mov and then scene detect the mov and add it into the media pool now you see scene detected clips goes into the folder of the mov (make sure you have selected the folder before scene detecting)so now do the same by adding folder and scene detecting the other mov files and later make a blank timeline and place the movs in different tracks from different folders as per your edit.

    hi Andreas,

resolve many not have many features but still you can get back your grade 🙂
if you had saved your stills just click import on the still page and in the import window go to the location you saved your stills and inthe file tipes you want to import select .drx and select all the drx files and import you will get back stills with grades.

    hope it helps
