resolve 12.5 linux issues:
1)is not able to read uncompressed 8bit quicktime but is able to write
2)softness of windows seem to be out of place.
3)red metadata in color do not show the actual metadata at which the footage is shot but defaults to iso1280,exposure0.00,colour temp5600 for all shots even if the “use camera metadata ” setting is ticked in the project settings to use camera metadata iso, exposure and colour temp is selected.
4)the color of the images changes when you switch to clip in color page even if the project settings are same as that of the clip.prathvish hegde

or else If you want to boot the machine in 64bits mode just one time, hold down “6″ and “4″ during system boot to load the 64 bit kernel (or hold down ’3′ and ’2′ during boot to use the 32 bit kernel)

November 19, 2014 at 6:48 am in reply to: Future of DI is collaborative workflow???(Resolve to Fusion and viseversa????)i think BMD has to do it fast as Baselight has a workflow in place with plugin for Nuke,Avid and Fcp so i think its time BMD does it .
I think bmd can also do a plugin and the workflow can be implemented also there should be an option to export drx when you export the shot for vfx in the deliver page.i would prefer to give the vfx guys the trimmed Camera RAW files (of vfx shots)and also the drx corresponding to that shot and get back the assets to the shots and do the colour changes in Resolve.
Just a thought but i might be wrong in my thinking 😉 .

hi andrew,
i prefer working from RAW (99.9%) compared to working using LUT but sometimes i just try the LUT to see how the footage looks withit and later grade without LUT.
reason for this approach could be bcoz i was a Telecine colorist before i started using Resolve from version 7.prathvish hegde
