I have more than one complete Quicktime file that needs to be scene detected and cut up for grading. Would like to know if it is possible to cut up more than one complete Quicktime and place them on different video tracks?

make folder in the media pool with the same name of the mov and then scene detect the mov and add it into the media pool now you see scene detected clips goes into the folder of the mov (make sure you have selected the folder before scene detecting)so now do the same by adding folder and scene detecting the other mov files and later make a blank timeline and place the movs in different tracks from different folders as per your edit.
