Try to copy/paste the audio of cam 2 from sequence 1 to the multicam sequence on an empty audio track and edit this track in such a way that the sound of cam 2 is used during the selected period.

Yesterday I did also a test for the first time with multicam. Also no audio in the multicam timeline.
Then I found out that only soundtrack 1 is used in the multicam timeline.
In the original timeline, soundtrack 1 was switched off, because I will use only the sound of track 3 and 4.
Now I will try to copy/past track 3 and 4 to the multicam timeline.Maybe something like that is your problem too.

Subtitles made in MS Word can be copied and pasted title by title to the Premiere titler.
May be this is also possible from Subtitle Workshop. You can give it a try.Good luck

To achieve the best quality, connect an external microfoon to the camera and record the voice-over on tape in a quiet room with closed curtains. Then capture this tape and add the sound to the timeline.

I had problems with Sony tapes.
After using Panasonic tapes some years ago
no problems.
All tapes can have problems during the first and
last 10-20 seconds.Good luck

Why do you want DTS encoder?.
Is Surcode for Dolby Digital 5.1 (AC 3) not OK?
What is your application (movie on DVD with 5.1 sound?)

If you chose for animation with two stills:
Put the open mouth still on track 1 and the closed mouth on track 2 over the full length of the animation.
Cut out the frames in track 2 when the person say a word. This is easier than placing the stills all the time.Good luck

Procedure for Surround 5.1:

Shut down all applications (document scanner, virus scanner etc)
Maybe that helps.
What media are you using (AVI captured with firewire?)
What is the size of your second Hard disc?Goos luck

Play the DVD on a stand alone player connected to the analog input of a camcorder.
Connect the camcorder via firewire to the PC. Switch the camera to DV out and capture in Premiere.
Alternativ: record the DVD on miniDV tape and capture the tape.Good luck
