This has been bothering me for a while now and I’ve tried so many things but to no avail.

Please, how best can I preserve my DV tapes. What I do is after every project, I rewind DV tapes to the begining and store by returning it back to my locker. But after a long while, when I playback those tapes, I get some few glitches…or could this problem be from the tapes.

If it’s the tape, then what DV tapes are best. Will be glad to read from someone really soon.

    Regards,

I had problems with Sony tapes.
After using Panasonic tapes some years ago
    no problems.
All tapes can have problems during the first and
    last 10-20 seconds.

    Good luck

I use sony tapes also..but I guess I’ll have to stop using them…but I really dont think the problem is actually from sony…I guess the tapes are imitations of the reall thing.

Non the less…I’m thinking of getting DV tapes from Panasonic also.

    Thanks,
