I am editing a rather large project in Premiere Pro 2 and I am running into some problems. This is the first time I have tried to color correct anything and I am in need of a good tutorial on this. Everything I have seen is just generic for any program and I need premiere specific.

I am also trying to learn how I can establish 5.1 surround in my project. I am doing a sci-fi show and I have a scene where we do a space battle and it would be nice to hear those ships flying around! Again this will be my first shot at doing this type of audio.

Finally, there is a commercial (I think its about insurance) and the person talking is kind of animated. Its like a cross between solarize and something else? We are trying to figure out how this is achieved? Its a very cool effect.

Thanks so much for your help!

If you chose for animation with two stills:
Put the open mouth still on track 1 and the closed mouth on track 2 over the full length of the animation.
Cut out the frames in track 2 when the person say a word. This is easier than placing the stills all the time.

    Good luck

Color Correction is covered in detail in the “Studio Techniques” book by Jacob Rosenberg.

Find it here in the Dairy Store.
