Brian,
[Brian Pitt] ” know this isn’t a motion Forum, but lets be serious…nobody answers posts in that forum. I’m hoping that somebody can help me out with a very small task…”
Not true the fact that you haven’t got an answer for your question could be:-
1) Nobody knows
2) Everybody is too busy at the moment to answer
3) We don’t know what you are trying to do or your question is too vague.Anyway, I’ll have a go at it as you’ve posted here as well.
[Brian Pitt] “When I send the sequence to Motion, it ignores the composite modes that are associated with the tracks. I need to do one of the following: Tell Motion to import the composite modes with the clips – or – Set the composite mode in motion to Travel Matte – Luma. DOES ANYONE KNOW A WAY TO DO EITHER OF THESE???”
Just add an image mask to your fill layer and then drop the key layer into the well.
That should do it

Use Martins subtitle generator, it is a lot easier and it is only $10 😉

[AJA Sales Department] “AJA can only supprt KONA SD cards which use the original KONA SD driver.”
But wasn’t the original driver a Blackmagic one?
What was the last driver version that you both agreed on? I will power up my old G4
with its Kona SD card and check which one I was running with for Gregg.Peter

[AJA Sales Department] “(the original developer ceased support for them),”
I don’t want to get into a huge arguement but this isn’t true.
When AJA & Blackmagic split, Blackmagic said they would support the Kona SD card for
as long as they could.spin down the page & find the driver you need

Shane,
They are designed to pair with bluetooth mobile telephones
But hey, you know what Apple are like, they also pair perfectly with the MBP.
There are diffrent levels of interfacing though, the basic is just using the Razrwires as a bluetooth
headset for Ichat or Skype. It gets a bit more interesting when you find out you can direct the whole audio in & out of the MBP through
the Oakleys, which means you can monitor FCP or any other app that has audio. Shame its only mono
& the quality isn’t that good via bluetooth, but its a start.I haven’t tried doing a voiceover in FCP yet though!

Paul,
I don’t know anybody who works on it, but strangely I used to do some work at the post house Evolutions
where the inserts get made. Sadly that was a few years ago and the guy who used to book me has retired! It looks like the cameras are chipped, lots of filters, high shutter speed & pretty heavy grading.
I like the look, but there is a limit to how much screaming Jeremy Clarkson you can take driving
round an airfield going ‘WhooHooo” The features also look a bit stage managed now.And just count how many fades to black there are! Good, but samey, having said that Channel 5’s attempt
to rival TG looks terrible.Feel free anybody who knows to chip in with some more details. Mr Nattress let me in on a few post secrets
on another BBC show, but I’ll let him fill everyone in if its not too secret 😉Peter

Jeremy,
I’m very interested in getting FCP compliant XML out of filemaker.
We use filemaker as a logging system on sporting events and although we use a few
clever things like automatic timecode stamping, the above was slightly out of our
programming expertise.Rather than post my email here, can you email me off the ‘contact me’ button off my website? Ta.
Many thanks, FYI we are running FCS5.1
