    All,

A bit off topic, but I thought this might make you laugh.

Over the weekend I bought some Oakley Razrwire sunglasses that have the bluetooth headset clipped on.
    https://oakley.com/o/o2261d
They work fine with my Nokia mobile & the voice recognition/dialing etc is really cool when driving.

I decided to play a bit today:-
Would they pair (LOL) with my MacBookPro? yes – first time
Would they handle a conversation with Ichat, yes
Itunes? – yeup I’m listening to an internet radio station out of SF, wifi to my MBP, on my sunglasses!

Now for the big one – FCP it works!
Granted the quality isn’t great and it might be mono only, but I’m still laughing at it all working.

Any idea why the pictures are a bit dark though? LOL!
Can I pair them with a RED camera??

Pardon my ignorance with these glasses, but how are they interfacing with FCP? What are you using them to do?

And must you be on the cutting edge ALL the time?

    :^)

    Shane,

They are designed to pair with bluetooth mobile telephones

But hey, you know what Apple are like, they also pair perfectly with the MBP.
There are diffrent levels of interfacing though, the basic is just using the Razrwires as a bluetooth
    headset for Ichat or Skype.

It gets a bit more interesting when you find out you can direct the whole audio in & out of the MBP through
the Oakleys, which means you can monitor FCP or any other app that has audio. Shame its only mono
& the quality isn’t that good via bluetooth, but its a start.

I haven’t tried doing a voiceover in FCP yet though!

Couple that setup with a modded version of the Nintendo Wii controllers and we’re off!!!
