You are missing the point here. AP’s are used to working on Avid where you can have a large timecode display.
Try getting them to squint at the timecode at the top of the canvas. So I suppose it is actually designed to save time.Its worth $40 just to stop them asking “where is that shot” or “what time are we running to there” etc.

One is twice the price as it is an application opposed to a filter.
If you have to worry about $40 when you have a client, you are probably not charging enough.Can’t really see where you have the problem though, nobody forces you to buy anything..
