March 22, 2013 at 11:11 pm in reply to: Getting Premier Pro CS6 to display through BM Intensity ProThere is a known bug with the Intensity cards and Blackmagic driver 9.7 where it does not output HD, only SD:( This should be resolved soon.
In the meantime, as Mark said, if you have a Intensity card you can go back to desktop version 9.6.8.

Sorry if I missed if you said this already in one of your post, but have you tried playing the media off of your internal drive? Same behavior?
Thanks,

Hi Oliver,
Sorry to hear about the problems your running into.
You’ve probably have this figured out but just in case I thought I’d give you this link on how to properly set up a Blackmagic card with Premiere Pro.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PR8i5H5Lm44Can you tell me if there seems to be any specific thing you do that causes the audio to become distorted? Does the audio randomly drop out during editing or only on first launch?
Is your media on a local drive, external, server?
Thanks for your time,
Best,
Peter Garaway

Hi Mel,
Unfortunately in CS6 there is not a keyboard shortcut option to disable Transmit. Note that this is something we’re looking into.
For now the quickest way to accomplish this is setting a keyboard shortcut to the Playback Preferences menu. From the Keyboard shortcut dialog do a search for playback, you will playback preferences on the top of the list.
Hope this helps.
Thanks

Where was the title created? .PSD? A Premiere title? Is it pixelated in the Program monitor and the output monitor?
Thanks,

January 4, 2013 at 5:52 am in reply to: Monitoring 2K timelines in Premiere CS6 via Blackmagic DeckLink HD Extreme 3DHi Bruce,
Blackmagic relies on your sequence settings, it will not downscale to 1080p on the fly. If you want to output a 2k sequence with Blackmagic you will need a 2k monitor. If you have a HD monitor, you can place your 2k media into a 1080p sequence and output it that way. Be sure to select Scale To Frame Size.
