  • Disabling video-output in PP CS6?

Posted by Mel Matsuoka on January 9, 2013 at 1:19 am

Is there an easy way to temporarily toggle off the video output from Premiere Pro CS6 through my Decklink card? I’m basically looking for the equivalent to the ⌘F12 shortcut in FCP7 .

I know I can disable the “Blackmagic Playback” checkbox in the Preferences, but since I need to toggle my video output all the time, it’s really cumbersome to do it this way.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Mel,

Unfortunately in CS6 there is not a keyboard shortcut option to disable Transmit. Note that this is something we’re looking into.

For now the quickest way to accomplish this is setting a keyboard shortcut to the Playback Preferences menu. From the Keyboard shortcut dialog do a search for playback, you will playback preferences on the top of the list.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks
