  • Hi Mike,

Getting more details about your system and media type would be helpful. Here’s a few questions to start.

Do you have a IO card installed i.e. Blackmagic, AJA or Matrox?

Do you have a GPU and is it enabled?

A few other tips to help performance:

    – Disable “Show Duplicate Frame Markers”. This option is selectable under the wrench icon in the timeline panel.

    – Disable “Display out of sync indicators for unlinked clips”. This is selected by default under the General Preferences page.

    Hi John,

Have you tried trashing your preferences?

Hold down the Alt [Win] or Option [Mac] key while you launch Premiere. Keep holding it down until you see the Welcome Screen.

Let us know how that goes.

  • Hi Todd,

Would you be willing to provide me a small sample file that I can look at? You may be right that either FCP/Compressor or Callibrated Q has to be installed at the moment.

    Thanks,

  • Hi Guys,

This is a known issues that we’re working on along with our partners. Until we get it resolved you can try:

    1. Uninstall the CUDA driver and use OpenCL or Software only
    2. Roll back your OS as Kevin mentioned

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Yes, this has behaved this way for as long as I can remember. Feel free to fill out a bug report from the link below. The more reports we see on any particular issue the more likely it is to get addressed.

  • Hi Mark,

.ims files are system specific and will always generate to the system drive. They cannot be stored on a server or external drive.

FYI: ims files = Cache of file properties used to skip re-reading the file during project load.

  • Hi Nicholas,

In the Keyboard short panel search for Nudge Volume. There you will find assignable shortcuts for nudging the volume 1 or 3 -/+DB.

You can click and select multiple keyframes or drag and select and adjust all at the same time.

    Hope this help!

  • Hi Chip,

I edited my original post. Yes this is a known issue and we’re working with our partners to understand the cause.

As of now this appears to be limited to Mac OS and NVIDIA graphics cards.

    Hi Jake,

You can try going into your Sequence Settings and uncheck “Composite in Linear Color”. Hopefully you’ll be happy with those results.
