    Hi Jorge,

    Yes I was able to reproduce this issue as well. Sorry you have to deal with this. We’ll investigate the cause and get it fixed but unfortunately I’m unable to give you ETA.

    I’m not sure of a workaround as of yet other than rolling back to 8.1 where it was working correctly.

    Sorry for the hassle. A few questions to better understand your problem.

    – Did your 2nd monitor work correctly in Premiere Pro CC v8.1?
    – What Mac OS version do you have running?
    – What monitor do you have and how is it connected?

    Yes. Adobe has been working with Apple and NVIDIA to resolve this problem.

    Hi John,

    I understand not wanting to upgrade mid project. I think that’s probably wise if you’re able to get your work done. If you have a safe environment to update both OS and CUDA driver I suggest doing so.

    I’m sorry there is no “official” word from Apple or Nvidia that these updates fixed this issue but whether intentional or not this combo appears much more stable in my testing thus far.

    Hi Justin and John,

    My testing has been very positive with Mac OS 10.10.2 and CUDA driver 6.5.45. More testing is needed but so far I’ve been unable to get the system into a bad state.

    If you guys continue to run into graphics issues please let us know. It would be good to get your System Profile info and any details you can provide on how you got Premiere/OS into a bad state.

    Hi Brian,

    Taking some tips from Kevin Monahan. It looks likes you ran through some of these already but in case you missed some.

    If your issues persist after attempting all of these solutions please let me know. If you could send me a crash log the next time you crash that would be helpful.

    Thanks and sorry for the troubles.

    – Sign out from Creative Cloud, restart Premiere Pro, then sign in
    – Update any GPU drivers
    – Trash preferences
    – Ensure Adobe preference files are set to read/write
    – Delete media cache
    – Remove plug-ins
    – If you have AMD GPUs, make sure CUDA is not installed
    – Repair permissions
    – In Sequence Settings > Video Previews, change the codec to one that matches your footage
    – Disconnect any third party hardware
    – If you have a CUDA GPU, ensure that the Mercury Playback Engine is set to CUDA, not OpenCL
    – Disable App Nap
    – Reboot

    You cannot Hover Scrub and hear audio but you can click on the clip and that allows you to play the clip/JKL or click and drag the playhead. You can do this from the Project panel or Media Browser.

    Hi Danny,

    I have some suggestions that will hopefully be helpful to you. Very impressive timeline btw.

    – Disable“Show Duplicate Frame Markers”
    – Disable“Display out of sync indicators for unlinked clips”
    – Disable “Maintain Audio Pitch While Scrubbing”
    – Disable“Show FX Badges”
    – Turning off Audio Waveforms
    – Turn off Multicam view
    – Disable Transmit
    – Make sure your Network/Shared Storage not set to “full duplex”

    A few additional questions. Do you have the following in your project?

    – Warp Stabilizer on a lot of clips?
    – Multiband Compressor on a lot of clips?
    – Is there a lot of Dynamic Link clips?
    – Do you have multiple Media Browsers open?

    I hope one or some of these suggestions get you guys going. Please let us know how it goes.
