With Prelude you can create multiple flavors to multiple destinations. They all keep the same file name or you can have them be renamed if you choose. Relinking is easy.

You can do this in Prelude.

So open each one of those effects and save those setting as a preset. Say VONR, VOPE & VOGE. Start a new Multitrack Session. Load each clip into its own track in this new session. Load your presets into the Effects Rack and save that rack as a preset of its own. Now you can easily apply these 3 effects using one preset to each track. Then use Multitrack/Send To Adobe Premiere and you can choose to send each track individually back to PPro and they’ll all be in nice and tidy folder and sequence (if you so choose) for you to replace in your project.

I get that problem too. It always happens when I have a Scopes tab on the desktop. Doesn’t matter if they’re active/viewable or not. If the scopes tab is up anywhere then playback will not always start where you place the CTI.

Option select just the video tracks and then right click and nest them. This will give you nested video but leave all your audio alone. Right click on the nested video track and enable multicam and start cutting.

The money saved by not having to purchase the fonts needed for this fix was substantial enough. What a nice surprise.

Hey Kevin, is there a way I can contact you offline about a problem? Getting nowhere on something I need help with.

So I’m trying to advise a client (small agency) on a new iMac purchase. They will do a fair share of their own editing on it and want to know i7 or Fusion Drive. Are the new i5’s up to the task? RAM is not a problem, plenty of that laying around. They have some TB drives as well so that’s not a factor. Basically if you took the top line 27″ and had $200 more to spend would you spend it on the i7 or the Fusion Drive. The 2GB graphics card will do fine as well I suppose.

I only have experience with i7 and Xeon so I can’t really speak to the i5 performance. And even though I use SSDs now, a 7200 rpm disk was always up to the task.

    Anybody?

I think Bob is right and then you have to use a menu setting to tell the camera to act like a hard drive.
