Yep and you have full Blend capacities under the Opacity section of your Effects Panel.

Set Still Image Import to whatever you want under Preferences. It will not affect any stills you have already imported.

I have done that! Actually just slyly turned up the monitors in the room and suddenly the mix was no longer too soft, but “Perfect”.

You could mark an in and out in the timeline, copy and paste into another timeline then nest that and call it a subclip.

Have you tried just flattening the video only. Option select by clicking or dragging around.
