Using Media Browser covers all your bases all the time. May not be necessary for things that don’t live in a camera-card environment, but you should just do it that way all the time in my opinion.

You do all the subclipping in Prelude. Lay out a clip in the timeline, mark it up however and how many times you want and then send it over to Premiere. Done. Much easier interface. It’s what it’s made for.

So, I have a new client that sent me a link to a Sharepoint site where they would like to have all project files dropped off at the end of the job.

They didn’t ask. I didn’t offer.

But the folders were labeled “Premiere Projects”, “After Effects Projects”, “Audition Projects”, “Photoshop Files”….

You get the point.
