I’ve seen that before. Just fill out a field and see what changes. Not sure why this happens. But that’s how I got through it.

I would mark/subclip the audio clips in Prelude as well. That makes it a lot easier to keep it all straight while merging in PPro.

Plus you can use the TC info from the Video clips to mark the audio clips at a glance.

Duplicate the effect. Remove the mask. Save that as a preset.

I use HP workstations right now (day gig) and Camtasia 8.6 is the most FCPX-like feel I’ve ever experienced outside of Mac. That rubbery/fluid timeline thing in full effect.

I don’t use Camtasia for Mac, but would reckon it’s the same. Very familiar feel and look.
